NEWS: Richard in Your mind announce new album “Sun” and tour

Richard in Your Mind are back with their follow up to 2010′s highly acclaimed and received My Volcano.  It’s hard to imagine how this cat could be popping out albums about as often as a real mother can produce babies. This is no mean feat for RIYM as they were recording the new record Sun while touring the last one.

My Volcano will surely go down as a classic record, the upbeat psychedelic rhythms and harmonys always get the dance floor going. Drawing from The Beatles, The Mighty Boosh and Beck equailly can only lead to certain success, and RIYM do this without blinking. I still have people shazamming speakers when “Candelabra” is dropped during a dj set(this is shortly before I turn into a complete nerd and make them promise they watch the film clip), its hard to imagine the follow up to let down. Only time will tell, either way ill be heading to our PO Box a little more quickly over the next few weeks, as im pumped for this one.

To celebrate this land mark release, the guys will head out on the road with fellow Aussie acts the Laurels and .wav tweakers Fishing. Sun isn released on Rice is Nice, 9th September 2011.
